Lightnings and Refrigerator Repair

In the event of power outage, if your neighbor has power and you don’t, do not use a long extension cord (unless it is heavy-duty) to provide power to the refrigerator. When a refrigerator is connected to an outlet using a regular extension cord, it operates extensively in order to get the electricity it needs to work. This is bad for the components, and may damage the refrigerator, which will then require repair.
